I pierced my upper cartridge on my left ear with ease and was very happy with the needles and clamps. My only con however is the jewelry that comes with the set has no size labels. So it makes it difficult to know what jewelry will work with what needle. It does come with a card that helps but I would prefer the jewelry to be clearly marked when jt comes to the gauge size.
